Hi Guys

Few things to get through in this email so sorry in advance (learnt that from Drady) for the length of the email.

Training
With LMS 20/20 Comp starting on Sunday 7 April 2013, some of the boys are going to have a training session down at the Isabella Plains nets from 5pm tomorrow (Thursday). Good opportunity to come down and get in some "smashing" practice before the first game.

LMS T20 Comp
Polar Bears are entering a team in to the Autumn comp this year and as mention above, the comp commences on Sunday 7th April 2013. The team is made up of 8 players and games are played each Sunday (generally in the morning). It only run for 2 hours so there is plenty of time to enjoy the rest of your weekend.  The comp normally runs for about 10-11 weeks so it will be over before Canberra starts to freeze over in June.

Ideally I am looking for 3-4 blokes that are keen to play almost every game and other players that only want a game now and than to fill the remaining slots each week. To make it easier for me to manage, can you please let me (Pope) know if you are keen to play. Like the regular season, I will use the website each week to determine who is available for selection and select the team during the week.  Once the matches have been added to the website, you can update your availability.

We are missing a Blue and Yellow LMS shirt (size Small), so if you have it please let me know ASAP as we will need to have it for the first game.

Polo Shirts
In order to thank Mark and Ray from Rose Cottage for their donation this season, the committee has arranged a lunch at Rose Cottage this
Sunday 17 April 2013  17 March at 12pm. At the lunch the Polo Shirts will be handed out. So come along, bring the family and enjoy a great afternoon reminiscing about the achievements/Highlights of this past season.

I think most of you have paid for your polo shirt(s) already but if you have not please make sure you pay ASAP.
