Bears

Been a great 15th year of the bear under some trying conditions.  A couple of things for you to all consider before the year is out and a few things to kick off what will be a big 2014!.

Xmas feed and relaxation - DB has kindly offered his place this Sunday from 12pm for a bbq, beer, pool swim and maybe some cards, kids welcome. Committee will spot bbq, beers etc.  However so we don't want to put DB out we need RSVPs to drady (dradybad@tpg.com.au) with your "yes" by this Thursday. We appreciate being so close to xmas you all maybe on your way elsewhere.  DB's house is at 13 Bardolph Street, Bonython.



BBQ fundraiser (team this will really help keep costs down, pay for new equipment etc.) - Gribbs has sent out a note:

G'day Bears!

We have secured a spot to host a fundraising BBQ at Harvey Norman Fyshwick on Sunday the 5th of January. Your support in hosting this event is needed!!!

We are calling for volunteers to turn snags, serve snags and chat to passers by between 9.30 and 5pm. You can come for any period of time that suits you, Gribbs will be there all day to manage the shifts, you won't have to do more than turn and serve snags, please email Gribbs at stephen.gribble@humanservices.gov.au if you can come along for an hour or two or more.

20/20 Post Xmas/new year hit out

We have our first game on the 19th January - its a double header - please make sure you update your availability.  

In the meantime, we will be having a 20/20 hit out on Sunday the 12th January @ Isabella Plains or Wannissa from 12pm, with BBQ and Beers.  We'll send out a match invite/availability as an RSVP shortly.  This will be good opportunity to catch up and stretch the legs/arms before we try and get stuck into business end of the tournament.
