Greeting bears

Great news, the Sunday Social Cricket Association (https://actsocialcricket.com/) has stood
up the draw for the 2020-2021 season.  In more great news we will have two teams in C and
D grade which will play on alternative weeks and dodge public holidays where possible.

We welcome new players coming to the club and if you have friends keen for a hit, please
invite them along. 

Again, this seasons match fees will only be $10 per game played (covers ball expense). 
This is likely to be paid in a cashless way due to covid 19 and payment tracking. 

Due to C19, there are some additional rules this season and whilst we'll have a kit available
we strongly suggest you provide all your own gear where possible.  However if you don't
have a pads/bats we have these to borrow.  We'll provide any additional C19 guidance prior
to the first game - when is this?

First game/s is Sunday 18th October and it is a double header - we need as many bears
to play, everyone will get a run!

We have loaded the draw into the polar bears website (and we'll update fields once known). 
Please please please go in and update your availability for the entire season where possible
and keep this up to date.  This will help selectors apply a fair play policy and mitigate risk
of team shortages.  You must also make sure your personal address details are current on the
website for insurance purposes.

Merchandise - we have plenty, stay tuned for updates on FB (make sure you link to this)
about some sexy gear to purchase like pants, shorts, tops, hats hats and more hats!

Pre-season kick off - practice hit, beers and bbq - details to come - stay tuned.
