Bears,

The AGM and Bearlow Awards of come and gone. A big thank you to GT (and more importantly Mrs GT) for hosting the awards again this season, we all look forward to next year’s event which is tentatively scheduled to be held at Mr Peter ‘Drady’ Dradrach’s new place of residence in “Upper Gordon”. To recap the day’s proceedings:

Bearlow Awards

Amidst a lot of controversy and a lot of ‘press conferences’, Nathan (aka Tinder Bear) claimed a maiden Bearlow trophy. Other winners on the night included:

Batting Award – Drady

Bowling Award – Spooner

Clubman Award – Magneto

Captain’s Award – Boom

Individual batting trophies were also awarded to:

Drady (1 * 100 and 1 * 50)

Tinder Bear (3 * 50s)

Mustafa, Azz, Radico, Magneto & Boom (all 1 * 50)

A bowling trophy should have been awarded to AA for his 5 for, however in a cost cutting measure, Dictator Terrell elected not to award a trophy for bowling. I believe Magneto is currently purchasing said trophy.

Congratulations to all award winners!!! Another highlight of the night was the return of Andy MX to the Bears. Welcome back!!!!!!!!!
