Hi Bears

Polar Bears CC will be holding a fundraising BBQ on 18 December 2016 at Bunnings Warehouse, Gungahlin. The BBQ is required to run between 9am and 4pm, however setup will begin at around 8am.

The BBQ represents a great opportunity for us to raise the money that keeps the club active and the match fees low. Bunnings BBQs are always profitable and busy, and because our allotted date is so close to Christmas, we anticipate it being even busier than usual. 

For this reason, we need as many Bears as possible to volunteer for a shift on the day. Please email Magneto at tjvankints@gmail.com with your availability by Monday 12 December 2016.

Ideally, volunteers should be willing to put in 2-3 hour shifts. If we do not get sufficient volunteers, the President and myself will begin arbitrarily allocating shifts.

As noted above, the BBQ represents an important day for the financial health of the club, and your time and support is appreciated. It also represents an opportunity to eat BBQ and drink Coca Cola, which I know for a fact a sizeable number of you enjoy. So, please get involved.
