We are coming close to the end of the real cricket season, so its now time to starting thinking 20/20 big bash action!

Lastmanstands (LMS) Canberra will be holding their autumn tournament just after Easter (from 12th April approx).  There will be approximately 10 rounds - with finals so roughly the long weekend in June.

Last time the bears won the LMS Plate for their division, lets go one better and take out top honours this upcoming season.

The bears have separate playing shirts for this tournament, which are distributed prior to the game and collected at the end for the following week (cleaned of course).  All equipment is supplied, other than your own personal cricket gear (box, white pants) - we'll pull together a small kit as well.  LMS provides the cricket ball and an umpire.

The game is lucky to go for 2-3 hours tops, so this is a great format to come in have a bash and then have plenty of time left in your day or night, depending when the game is held.

How can I participate?  To help us out, we need your expression of interest and rough availability for the 10 weeks from the 12th April (e.g. full time, part-time, casual or emergency).

Its important to know this now so we can work out whether or not we'll need to factor registration - as this needs to be paid upfront and recouped later.  Costs are generally $10-15 per game (tbc).

Can bears please let me know (drady @ drady321@gmail.com) or let Pope and/or GT know if your keen to play by this Sunday so we can decide whether or not to put in a registration.  If you have mates that haven't played with the bears, get them to send me an email with all their contact details and availability and I'll add them the players list.
