Morning Bears,

Azz Azz Azz!!!

What a strange game we played in on the weekend against the Hall Bushrangers.

Yet again GT lost the toss and we had to field. The Bears were most disappointed with this outcome, not because of the heat or excellent batting conditions but because of the 20 litres of home brewed Belgian Beer was sitting stagnent.

To put in quite mildly we were facing chasing 400 as their openers belted HP and GT all over the park. GM Maestro was slow but steady, however Gray Nichols Scoop liked it coming on and swinging away. They raced to 55 without loss with Gray Nicholls Scoop hitting a quick fire 50. He did have some luck and we dropped him a couple of times but he batted well.

Enter Azz who single handedly destroyed the Bushrangers. Azz was close to unplayable as there batsman swatted, slogged and even danced with Azz, however for no returned.

Azz finished with the brilliant figures of     7 overs    3 maidens    7 for 7.

At the other end Adz was the other best of the bowlers with 3 overs 3 maiden 2 for 0

From a position of 0/55 and chasing 400 to all out for 67. A great comeback from the Polar Bears.

Batting was short and sharp. Damo and Pope got us off to a steady start until a strange dismissal occured. Damo walked with all Bears thinking he had snicked one to the keeper. When he got off the field we had discovered that the ball had hit leg stump, moving all three stumps and causing his off bail to dislodge.

The game was over 4 overs later with some brilliant hitting from Adz. Adz smashed 5 sixes and 4 fours and probably faced 15 balls in all for 48 not out. Popey also batted well supporting Adz as the pair put on 50 in 4 overs. Pope finished not out on 12 as the Bears passed the total in the 8th over.

• Buckets aka Crocodile Sanatcher aka Gribbsy took another unique catch on the weekend and promised to run a master class at an undecided venue at an undecided weekend in the undecided future.
• The catching of Radico, including a red hot one!
• The Belgian Beer! How good was it. Thanks Timmy.
• HP disclosing that he had been in contact with Trim, from Trim's Mob. Trim sent HP a text warning of Bears Losses against Trim's Mob in 2013. (mistake number 7)
