Evening Bears

A couple of things to keep on your radar.

AGM

The AGM will take place prior to the Bearlow on the 1st April 2017 at my house. Starting time will be 3pm. It is important that we get a good crowd and full representation on the committee for the next 12 months. With at least three bears not going to be around much it is important that we get people putting their hands up to run the club. All positions will be available and are as follows:

President

Vice President

Secretary

Treasurer

Club Captain

Selector (new position). This will take the pressure of the captain to concentrate on match day.

Fundraiser leader / and committee.

Worker Bears ( could be purchase items for weekend, merchandise

LMS

We may have two bears who are willing to coordinate LMS. However before we enter a team we need to see if it is viable and we are not going to get ourselves in a situation like last season where we had to forfeit and it cost us money. Could you please indicate if you are interested in playing the Autumn competition and whether you are a full time, part time or casual bear.

At this stage, if we have the numbers and sustained interest, we are only entering a team in Autumn competition.

Finally congratulation to Magento and team who were able to sell 775 sausages and clear nearly $2000. A great team effort!
