Morning all,

Please be advised that the Polar Bears AGM will be held at the Vikings Club next Saturday 18th June at 12pm.

It is important that we get as many people there as possible so you can have your say about the direction of the club. The other consideration is that there is a distinct possibility that some of our 40+ members may be retiring in the near future, therefore it is extremely important that we get some 'new blood' on the committee and members who can ensure that the club will survive and prosper into the future.

A position that we need members to consider is being involved in fundraising decisions and organisation. Gribbs has pretty much carried the club for the past 2-3 seasons and really needs a break from organisation. With the current chocolate run we have enough funds for next seasons registration for Sunday Social, past that we need to fund raise. Gribbs has cheat sheets for everything but we need a new person to take on this task. We do need a contact person plus several others to be involved in this aspect of the club.

All positions are open. If you have been nominated for a position and are not interested in standing you will need to get back to me before Saturday. If you dont the assumption is that you are happy to be nominated. I am still accepting nominations up until this Friday!
